Hebrew School of the Arts
Hebrew School Reimagined
Hebrew School of the Arts is a space where Judaism is celebrated. A program where children are excited to attend each sunday. Our innovative and child centered curriculum ensures that every child can explore Jewish values and Hebrew reading in a fun and engaging way.
At HSA, we move past traditional Hebrew school methods, opting for a fresh approach of learning through the arts. Each week is its own adventure, exploring holidays and culture through art, drama, music, baking, and more.
HSA is a space that instills the joys of tradition, promotes a strong sense of Jewish values, and ensures a strong Jewish future.
On Sunday mornings from 10am-12pm.
AN OPEN, WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL
Hebrew School of the Arts is a warm, all-encompassing, non-judgmental environment; welcoming Jewish families from all backgrounds. We acknowledge and respect the diversity of our children; while emphasizing Jewish values of family, community, compassion, joy, tradition and rituals.
No synagogue membership is required to be part of HSA. We welcome you to our school community and invite you to join us for our extensive array of programming.
Program goals
-
1. Love Being Jewish
By making learning fun and interactive we ignite a love for being Jewish. Our engaging, hands-on approach ensures that Jewish ideas resonate with children in a positive way, fostering a lifelong appreciation and enthusiasm for their Jewish identity.
-
2. Read Hebrew
Through our leading-edge Hebrew reading curriculum, each student masters reading at their own pace. The martial-arts inspired program inspires self-motivation and is a source of pride for students.
-
3. Gain Jewish Values
Our holistic curriculum integrates practical and timeless lessons to teach core Jewish values. We imbue within our children the importance of being a ‘mentsch’; a moral, compassionate, responsible and giving individual.
“The joy-filled years at Hebrew School of the Arts will build a strong Jewish identity within our students and empower them to use Jewish values as the guiding stepping stones for life.”
